COLOMBIA Orientation visit to Washington, D.C.

On November 30 – December 3, 2015, the Standards Alliance worked with Facilitando Comercio to organize a detailed orientation in Washington, D.C. The workshop focused on the public-private nature of the U.S. system and incorporated discussions with experts from across the government and private sector including ASTM International, Intertek, PCPC, NEMA, ICC, USTR, NIST, CPSC, FDA, and OMB-OIRA among others. The 16 Colombian officials included representatives of the trade ministry, national standards body, accreditation body, regulators, and the private sector
